Naked Democracy Guided Audio Tour

Naked Democracy banner The Naked Democracy audio tour is a new service offered by the State Library. Narrated by the exhibition's curator, Robyn Annear, this tour will give you an insight into the way public protest, social change and political debate have all helped to shape Victoria’s legislative history. You will also find out more about the stories behind key objects in the exhibition such as the mystery of the missing mace and the top hat.

 

How do I access the tour?
The Naked Democracy tour is available as five downloadable mp3 audio files. You can access these files by:

You can download the audio files to your mp3 player either at home or in the Library. And if you don't have access to an mp3 player, a small number are available for temporary loan at no charge in Experimedia.

You can also print off a detailed map of the exhibition to help you familiarise yourself with the space.

Transcripts & catalogue links
Tour transcripts and links to the Library's catalogue also provide opportunities to revisit themes in the exhibition and further your personal research.
