Rules

• Competition entries will be accepted from Monday 4 December 2006 to Sunday 4 February 2007.
• Don't send in offensive or inappropriate images - we won't publish them!
• Don't write offensive stories or other information, 'cause we won't publish them either!
• Please ensure you have permission from your parents to enter this competition.
• Images and text approved for publication (that is, those that aren't offensive or inappropriate) will appear on the 'I Need a Hero!' website.
• By submitting your images and text to the 'I Need a Hero!' competition you give us permission to re-use them - either digitally or in print. But don't worry, we will always name you as the creator and we will never sell your images.
• We won't include your images and text in the Library's collection.
• We will protect your privacy - see the Library's Privacy Policy.
• Prize-winners' nicknames and their winning superheroes will be published on the 'I Need a Hero!' website at on Monday February 12, 2007.
• By submitting your images and text to the 'I Need a Hero!' competition you agree to these rules.

Other important stuff

• Submit your entries between Monday 4 December 2006 and Sunday 4 February 2007.
• Make sure all your image files are jpegs (the filename extension should be .jpg).
• Ensure each image file is no larger in size than 1MB.
• Include the following information with each image you send in:
  - your nickname
  - your age
  - your email address
  - a brief description or title for your image.
• Make sure you fill in the written part of the competition too!
